Neglia is the Founder and CEO of Neglia Services Inc.
With that comes his education and certificate
though the Gemological Institute of America, which was completed in 1985.
Mr. Neglia has been in the jewelry industry for over
twenty five years, starting out as a diamond setter for the trade, than opening
his own jewelry store of which was very successful for many years.
Upon providing our services to a particular carrier,
Mr. Neglia had noticed that at least 50% of the appraisals which were submitted,
were either not documented correctly, or values were so inflated which caused payouts
to be so enormous. Insurance companies were not even picking up on these areas of
concern. At that point Mr. Neglia had seen an opportunity to correct these issues
and provide a evaluation report which would document, actual cost of materials,
labor costs, and what a fair margin of profit would be if that insured would have
to replace through a reputable jeweler. By implementing this evaluation report created
awareness and true determination of value for all partier involved.

Neglia's Jewelry Services
With each claim, we print
out an itemized list of what the actual cost would be to replace
a particular item, including what is considered a fair profit margin in today’s
marketplace. What this provides is a fair retail price for all parties involved.
We are associated with (Diamond site holders), and (Direct manufactures). All our
quotes are guaranteed for like, kind, quality, pricing, and availability.
(Direct shipment
program) We would
ship that item with no obligation to purchase, directly to the policyholder’s residence,
once approved, we would invoice that said party for payment.
(Executive
Program) which consists of personalized service directly to your
policyholders home to present a live display of like, kind, and quality. Restrictions
of distance do apply.
(Underwriting department), Appraisal Reviews, before
it gets accepted on a policy. There should be accurate information documented, so
a fair assessment can be determined at the time of loss. As we provide the industry
with this service, they can count on a relationship built on honesty, excellent
service, and professionalism. Our objective is to obtain a level of fair market
value for the insurance industry, also at the same time, obtain a fair market replacement
value for its policyholders.
(Training
program): Our training program consists of educating your adjusters
as to what to look for when reviewing an appraisal, and also understanding the grading
system of color, clarity, and cut, we also demonstrate how these categories drastically
increase, and decrease prices. Another area that has been a main concern for adjusters
is how to handle the policy holders at the time of a loss. This training program
has proved to be very beneficial, and rewarding, not just to those said adjusters,
and its company, but also to the policy holders themselves.
Diamond Shapes
|
|
Round
- The full-cut round diamond represents the highest advances in diamond cutting,
maximizing fire and brilliance. When in doubt, the round is always a smart choice.
|
|
|
Oval
- The oval is an elliptical shape that is based on the brilliant cut. Because it
creates the illusion of length, it is a popular style for a woman with a small hand
or short fingers.
|
|
|
Marquis
- A variation on the brilliant cut, the marquise is an elongated shape with pointed
ends. Its shape is flattering to the small hand, making it appear longer.
|
|
|
Pear
- The teardrop-shaped pear makes a beautiful ring. Its cut is a cross between a
brilliant and marquise, and is also well-suited to the woman with a petite hand
or short fingers.
|
|
|
Heart
- The heart-shaped diamond is the most romantic of diamond shapes. It is like a
pear shape, but with a cleft at the top. The cutter’s skill comes into play in
creating a stone with an even shape and a well-defined outline.
|
|
|
Emerald
- The emerald shape is a rectangle with corner facets and broad, flat planes. It
is given a step cut creating rows or steps of elongated facets. When selecting an
emerald-cut diamond, good clarity and color are essential - in fact, you will rarely
see one in lower grades. That is because inclusions and body color are much more
obvious in this shape.
|
|
|
Princess
- Square-shaped with many sparkling facets, the princess cut is one of the newest
choices for the diamond engagement ring. It especially enhances the hand with long,
elegant fingers.
|
|
|
Radiant
- The radiant shape is similar to an emerald cut, but with a facet arrangement that
gives it brilliance comparable to that of a round diamond. Radiant cuts have angled
corners and can range from square to rectangle.

collectibles, is why Neglia Services is used by over 30 different national and regional
insurance offices for their jewelry claims.
There are always people who don’t have the
full coverage, or enough of coverage,
NS pricing structure of “cost plus” allows
insured's who are underinsured to get the same for a lot less out of pocket expense
or much closer to what they had, with no money out of pocket. “Our pricing structure,
along with our ability to get almost anything from simple rings to extravagant designer
pieces is what makes us so unique and allows us to increase a company’s customer
satisfaction level while saving Insurance companies huge dollars on jewelry claims”.
“…kindness, patience and professionalism,
made what I expected to be a struggle into a very positive experience. Not only
did I get a ring that truly resembles the one stolen, I also dealt with a person
who empathized, reassured me, and patiently waited for me to make decisions about
a ring that was going to be made from some blurry photographs, a rather sketchy
appraisal, on my dim memory. Mr. Neglia thoroughness and the company’s expedient
‘creation’ of the ring was so appreciated…I want to acknowledge this exceptional
service and commend my insurance company for having such professionals available
to their insures. The experience makes me believe that insurance is really worth
it!” Ms. Joann Guardino, NY
One adjuster, turned property
manager in St. Louis, MO, stated, “I have had the opportunity to use Neglia Services
on many claims. I would like to commend you, and your staff. When I called
in a claim, the information was taken quickly, and courteously, and our insured's
are very pleased with both your product, and your service. It is too seldom
that quality workmanship, and service is recognized.”
Neglia Services projects
with the current growth of their service, and the industries belt tightening trend
that industry savings with Neglia alone could reach an annual savings of over $
4 Million for 2007 and reach $ 8 Million by 2009.
